Someone has to take down the decorations after Xmas so why not have an Event? It's true that most cachers are as mad as a box of frogs and don't feel the cold.... so come on over!
We shall meet at the parking coords at 7pm. Please be prompt as we shall not wait beyond 7.10pm as there might be children with us and we don't want to keep them hanging around too long. It's anticipated that the event at the tree will be finished by 7.45pm.
Join us as we all head off together to the event at the Xmas Tree. Bring those torches as this will be a mini night caching experience using the torches to follow the markers! This should add to the fun!!
Once there, we'll have a mince pie and maybe a hot mulled wine before taking down the decorations.
Once we've finished we shall make our way to The Rising Sun at Eden Park which is where the SELBAC events are nearly always held. Children are welcomed at this pub and we have a large area all to ourselves for the evening where we can discuss all things caching! See you at the pub from 8.00pm onwards.
THE OWNERS OF THE RISING SUN HAVE SAID THAT FOOD WILL BE AVAILABLE UNTIL 8:45 (AND THEIR MEALS ARE GOOD!) BUT COULD WE PLEASE LET THEM HAVE AN IDEA OF THOSE WHO MIGHT WISH TO ORDER FOOD SO THAT THE KITCHEN STAFFING IS APPROPRIATE!
To log this as Attended you must come to the disrobing of the tree. There will be a logbook there to sign which will not be available at the pub afterwards. Anyone is welcome though to join us at The Rising Sun.
