Geocache Description:

About the film:

In ROCKY V, made in 1990, Our ole buddy Rocky Balboa is forced to retire after having permanent damage inflicted on him in the ring by the Russian boxer Ivan Drago. Returning home after the Drago bout, Balboa discovers that the fortune that he had acquired as heavyweight champ has been squandered away on the stock market by his accountant. His boxing days over, Rocky begins to coach an up-and-coming fighter named Tommy Gunn. This move creates feelings of jealousy with Rocky Jr (played by Stallone’s real life son Sage), now a teenager, who starts hanging out with the wrong crowd. To add to Rocky’s problems, his new protégé decides that Rocky isn’t moving him up the ladder quick enough and begins training with Rocky’s former trainer Duke. Tommy wins the title he wants, but still doesn’t gain the respect he wants. He decides to proof himself he’ll have to fight Rocky one on one. Rocky, now retired from the ring, can only participate in an unsanctioned street fight without the benefits of referees. The danger: A street fight which could risk Rocky's life. Will Rocky win back his self-respect and the respect of his son? Can Rocky…well, you know the drill…start the training montage and cue the music. This outing was directed by John G. Avildsen, the director of the very first Rocky movie, You know, Stallone once said in an interview just after the mild success of Rocky 2 that he had always envisioned the Rocky story as a trilogy. So tell us why again we have four more sequels after Rocky 2?
