My first cache, at long last, a very easy starter, containing some swaps and a Travel Bug. Placed near my sons seemingly never ending swimming lessons.Slight trek across grass to GZ, and then some thorns, wheelchair access difficult due to grass berm, pushchairs could get within 10ft. Free parking for 2 hours, cache will take about 5 mins, in Leisure Centre, basic cafe here, or Beefeater another 100 yards away.
20/03/2013 Finley has now finished lessons after 5 years, whilst having little discipline to learn a proper stroke he has now passed his 100 metres badge and gained Cub badges Levels 1 and 2. He will not give up this cache however, so it will remain in place for future visitors.
Autumn 2017 - The newly laid sports pitches make access a little more difficult, however all you need do is choose which side to approach from, I find it easier from the sports centre car park. Beware however of dog mess, this field is a favourite for dog walkers who seem less inclined to remove waste than they were before.
