Trick ... or Treat Traditional Cache

BARM_Squad: We are saddened to announce that we are archiving most of our caches and will only be placing new ones if they are truly unique or special to us. We noticed that we really haven’t been enjoying geocaching this past 1-2 years and when we started to think about it, we realized we lost interest around the same time we started placing our own caches. Whether it’s because of what feels like constant maintenance, constant checking up to see if the caches really are missing, or the occasional negative feedback, geocaching started feeling more like a chore and less like a hobby.

Note: Anything we found in all our caches we picked up this weekend we put all together in our Happy Birthday to You! cache (GC312K8) which we had to replace since that was missing too.

Geocache Description:

This cache is at the Keyport Waterfront with parking very nearby. It is the same size as the other two caches we placed along this waterfront. It is placed in what surrounds the memorial for the Keyport Firefighters. There is another memorial memorial and a time capsule nearby. It is not, nor will it ever be, in plain view. Please make sure to place cache EXACTLY as you found it with the lid completely closed. BRING TWEEZERS to remove log, and BYOP!

You're looking for a very small cache the size of a cigar holder (about 2.5 feet off the ground) which only contains a log and a pencil. Be careful while searching for the cache and use lots of stealth since people sit in their cars and seem to be very nosy. Please please please be aware of muggles near GZ, in their cars, or sitting on the benches. We've replaced this cache more times than we can remember and if it continues to go missing we'll have to archive it.

Please do not disrespect the property. You don't have to search ON the memorial, just in what's the SURROUNDING the memorial. Please read the hint if you need more help.
