Another "hidden" historical site in the City of Rockingham.

This is the site of the home of Thomas Peel Jnr. It was known as Peelhurst Cottage. The entire suburb was, until 1985 known as Peelhurst.

Thomas Peel Jnr, after the failure of is farm, was declared insolvent in 1859. In 1860 he built a new home, 9 miles north of Mandurah.

Dispite only ever completing the back half of the cottage, he lived here, with his housekeeper until his death in 1892.

The cache is small with no room for swaps, and no pencil, but there is room for small trackables.

Enjoy the history and the search, and don't forget your own writing stick.
