När min äldste son var tre år, skulle jag vid ett tillfälle träffa min vän Charlie för ett evenemang i Tantolunden. Det ingick i planen att vi skulle äta något och ta en öl. Sonen undrade vad jag skulle iväg på, och fick svaret att jag skulle in till stan för att sitta i en park med Charlie och äta och dricka öl. Han lät sig nöja med detta. Framåt kvällen ringde en annan vän hem till oss, och han fick tillfälle att prata med sonen. På frågan om vad pappa sysslade med gav sonen då svaret "Han sitter i en park med Charlie. De dricker öl och kollar på bilar.". Och egentligen, är det inte ett perfekt recept på en bra kväll?
Håller man med om detta, så har man en fin plats här. Utsikten ner mot vägen är fin, man får se både ett par fina kurvor och en raksträcka, och det finns bra ställen att ställa ifrån sig en flaska (öl eller läskeblask, båda funkar nog lika bra!).
Några dussintal meter sydväst om cachen, på en liten höjd, återfinns några rester av torpet Roshagen, vilket tillhörde Jungfrusund. Det finns nu en plan att bygga ett hem för ungdomar med speciella behov där torpet en gång stod. I övrigt är det meningen att stråket med den breda, plana stigen ska förbli obebyggt, trots att det i en äldre detaljplan här planerades ett bostadsområde. Det har blivit ett viktigt och flitigt utnyttjat strövområde för många människor, och ska få fortsätta vara det.

Some years ago, when my oldest son was three years old, I was going to Tantolunden (a park in Stockholm) to meet my friend Charlie for an event. We had planned to eat something and have a beer. My son asked where I was going, and was told that I was going into town to sit in a park with Charlie and eat and drink beer. He was content with this. In the evening, another friend of mine rang my home number, and he got to talk with my son. When asked what dad was doing, my son gave the answer "He is sitting in a park with Charlie. They are drinking beer and looking at cars.". And really, isn't it a perfect formula for a great evening?
If you agree with this, this is just the spot for you. The view towards the road is excellent, you will see both a couple of nice curves and a straight, and there are good places to put down a bottle (beer or soft drink, both should work equally well!).
A few dozen meters southwest of the cache, on a small hill, are some remains of the cottage Roshagen (literally "the rose pasture"), which belonged to Jungfrusund. There is now a plan to build a home for young people with special needs where the cottage once stood. Apart from that, the area with the wide, flat trail is supposed to remain undeveloped, despite the fact that it was originally planned to be a residential area. It has become an important and widely used recreational area for many people, and will continue to be so.
