jeffgamer: This morning, I noticed that there were two new geocaches a few miles south of my home, both hidden my mb44. TripleS'ss had already found one of them, but the FTF was still up for grabs on the other, so I considered going out for it. But...nahhhhh....I had things on my agenda.
Then comes the afternoon and the plan to head over to Coral Reef Library to pick up a bunch of books awaiting us. That took me halfway to the caches...so, why not?
First stop was the hopefully-still-unfound "Hello? It's for you...". Parked next door, walked to GZ...and, WHAMMO! Eff-Tee-Eff, WOO-HOO!!
Second stop was one of my currently-disabled Urban Fishing caches. I wanted to check to see if the hiding spot had become viable again, after having been knocking out of commission by Hurricane Irma. Meh. The cache had been hidden in the sign in front of the Miami-Dade Waste and Recycling Center, but apparently they've come up with another way of letting people know they've arrived, hanging a sign on the fence instead of posting a free-standing one. Thus, it looks like the hiding spot is no longer viable for my intended hide. Unfortunately, I'm archiving this cache.
Third stop was "Hello? I told you never to call me here." Yup...I've gotten the STF on this one.
Final stop was the supposedly-true reason for my excursion from the home, the trip to the library to get all these new goodies on loan!
Thanks to mb44 for providing the geocaching entertainment portion of my sojourn and for the newly-minted FTF!
Cache on, all!
