Geocache Description:

35 mm Film Canister on the Campus of Memorial University. Very near the Memorial Clock Tower. Cache has log, no pencil, pleae bring your own writing implement. Also, please try to place back in orginal hiding spot as it is a very high muggle zone and I would hate for it to get stolen or removed.

This is my first hide and I wanted it to be something personal to me. I am a member of Zeta Psi Fraternity, Alpha Mu Chapter from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Rememberance Day is a very important day for our chapter and everyone else. Lieutenant Colonel Dr. John Alexander McCrae, author of In Flanders Fields was a member of our Fraternity from the Theta Xi chapter.

Having moved to St. John's, and knowing Newfoundland did not have a chapter of Zeta Psi here. I wanted to bring some special rememberance to both my Fraternity and Rememberance Day to St. John's. I figured somewhere on Memorial University would be fitting, and when I came across the clock tower, and the plaque inscription on it:

"For Our Rights and Freedoms
We Remember and Honour Those who have fallen
and Commemorate those Who have served"

It seemed like a fitting place to make this cache. I hope eveyone enjoys finding this cache, and also takes a moment to remember what past generations did for this country so we can do fun things like this.
