Fire! Traditional Cache

905kaa: My 4WD's engine was wrecked recently leaving me with no feasible access in the near future to any of my caches. Too expensive to get a replacement engine for the second time in six months!! :(

Regretably, I am therefore having to archive all of my Dubai / UAE based caches in accordance with the Geocaching guidelines.

I do hope you have enjoyed visiting them over the past few months and that they have taken people to the various fascinating places where they are placed. Those that remain will still be there so anyone else is free to take them over if they choose or to retrieve any travelling items that may be in them.

Geocache Description:

Situated in the desert close to the main Dubai - Abu Dhabi road. Close to say another apparently abandoned development.

Accessible by 4WD or perhaps by 2WD with a bit of walking. You probably need to be heading towards Dubai from Abu Dhabi to access this site - or turn at the border and come back again. Cache initially contains a log book, pen and a bit toy yellow Hummer.

Lots of roads and tracks in this area and another part of the Arabian Canal. There's another of my caches in this area of desert so check it out too - "Where's the Water?".
