Geocache Description:

This geocache is located in the Proud Lake Recreation Area along the hiking trails north of the service road. A Recreation Passport is required for entry. Hunting is NOT permitted in this area. Parking is available at the trailhead.

Despite the sign, this trail is still heavily used. The boardwalk has seen better days, but is very functional.

I saw six snakes going to hide this cache. One was dead. The rest were not and were seen in the area of the cache. They were all Garter snakes. This geocache is located just off the trail on flat ground.

The container is a rectangular, clear Lock and Lock camouflaged with duct tape.

Don't forget Cache In Trash Out.
