Geocache Description:

This is a drive to cache, located at the end of the paved Clarks Fork Canyon Road (State Hwy 292, County Hwy 8VC). Bring your camera, the drive to the Clarks Fork Canyon is scenic and this place is breath taking. If you don’t bring a very wide-angle lens you’ll want to stitch some pictures together to have a panoramic of the mountains, the canyon, and the river.

This cache is located at the end of a 20 mile section of the Clarks Fork River that listed in the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System. This is the only Wild and Scenic River in Wyoming.
If you have a high clearance vehicle, you can drive down the rocky road to the river’s edge. The trial up the Clark’s Ford Canyon, beyond this point, is only traveled by 4-wheelers and 4wd vehicles. At the end of the canyon floor the road makes 21 switchbacks in 1.5 miles to climb out of the canyon to the north.
While you are here perhaps you'd like to find Clark's Fork Observation, or Tipi 3.
This cache is maintained by WESWEDE a local cacher.
