This cache is right on the Wabash Heritage Trail, between the Lafayette Golf Course and Davis Ferry Bridge. The cache requires no bushwacking yet is concealed.
This cache will take you along a little-known gem of a trail, the Wabash Heritage Trail. We don't have many trails in this area but this one is fun. It runs a total of 13 miles, from Battle Ground to Fort Ouiatenon.
This cache is in the section between Davis Ferry Bridge and the Lafayette Golf Course. It will involve a walk of a little less than 2 miles from the Davis Ferry parking area or about a mile and a half from the Golf Course, depending. It is not a difficult walk; flat and well marked, but it will take you a little while.
This is the third cache I've placed in the area. Each are along routes I run while training for distance races. As you walk, I hope you can enjoy the trail, the view of the Wabash River, the time in the woods as much as I do. And, when you get to the cache area, see if you can figure out why I gave this name to the cache.
