Back in the 1860's, Falls City was quite the place. It had a saw mill, a grist mill, 2 blacksmith shops, a carpenter shop, a cheese factory, a barber shop, a photo gallery, 2 hotels, and a post office. Today it is just a hand full of houses. While at the cache, take a few minutes and look downstream at the remains of the old dam. You do not have to leave the pavement for the find.
