This cache is placed near Hervey Bay's Tourist information. It should be a quick drive by on the way into Hervey Bay, or when leaving town.
The original cache has been muggled a number of times. It was a multi - with starting waypoint at the nearby pink structure with Latitude and Longitude printed on the front. However, there's something odd about these coordinates:
1) They aren't the coordinates for this location, but lead you elsewhere.
2) They don't conform with standard datum format, i.e. The latitude S25 18' 145 sec should be written as S25 20' 25 sec, since each 60 seconds automatically convert to a minute. The longitude is correct.
Note (2017): the structure has been removed.
