Geocache Description:

First in the series. This will be the easiest one in this series. Parking close by and should be a quick grab.

Placed for the 2011 Holiday Gathering of MGS.

This is the first in a series of caches that will be under (literally and figuratively) the UPS banner.

What is UPS? Not the delivery company...but rather...Unnatural Pile of Sticks. If you have been caching for any period of time and have been in the woods, you have seen these. Generally, they are piles of sticks about a foot to 18" long. Mostly facing the same direction at the base of a tree. As a cacher, it is a dead giveaway that there is a cache hidden underneath. For the muggles...they walk right on by.

This series is meant to test your skills and maybe teach you something new as well. I have seen and read about a lot of ideas with these. I plan on implementing these ideas (along with a few others I have dreamed up).

My intent is two fold. 1. I hope you have fun trying to find these. 2. I hope that finding them will add some ammunition to your geosenses toolbox.

This particular hide is exactly what you expect. Nothing hard. This is the quintessential UPS hide. Parking on either side of the island. Do not park in the circle and DO NOT drive on the grass or gravel.

For those that care...this used to be Rt. 30 before the circle went in. They are working hard to turn this back into a natural area. It could use some CITO, so feel free to bring a small bag and take out a small load with you.

Now the big question...why do they keep changing the middle bill board? It can barely be read from any road.

Enjoy!
