Geocache Description:

The cache is located in the beautiful Goyt valley in the forested slope above Fernilee Reservoir.

It is located at one of my favourite areas in the Goyt Valley near to a whole line of the most magnificent leylandii trees. When looking for the cache do take the time to check out the splendour of the leylandii trees. You can plan some fantastic walks in the area around the cache and it has the bonus of being a little bit quieter than other areas around Errwood. There are also many other caches in close proximity.

The cache is placed with the permission of the forestry commission and I thank them for that. Please ensure no litter is left and you leave things as you find them.
