A quick Cache and Dash for my first cache. Several places to park.
Checked a few days ago and still in place
Medium plastic container which initially held; logbook, couple of pens,a few small swappables and Bonobo the monkey travel bug TB4DT1T.
Nearby to this cache along Speen Lane and pound Lane are a few points of local interest. At one end of Speen lane is the Speen war memorial and at the other and obelisk which once held Newbury's first gas light. At the Junction of Pound lane and the Bath road is a small wooden enclosure that used to be used for lost animals. Nearby is also Speen Church, which is the mother Church for Newbury and the Lady well, an ancient spring which is said to have healing properties.
