Geocache Description:

Park at the library, there is a little path that follows the Union River for about 100 ft. Cache is located on a steep hillside.

The Ellsworth Dam on the Union river was designed by The Ambursen Hydraulic Construction Co. In 1907. The original site contained a sawmill. It has a total height of 62.3 feet and is 377 feet long. The body of water it is holding back is called Leonard Lake.
