A 5-stop multi-cache in downtown Asheville. The final cache is a magnetic keybox about 2 miles away.

I initiated a series of caches under the heading of “Beer City:” combining two of my favorite pastimes, geocaching and beer drinking. Asheville is a haven for both of these activities. The “problem” is that so many of us share at least one of these pursuits. The geocaching rules restrict how close caches can be to each other. Given the closeness of many of the places I wanted to include in “Beer City,” and the proximity of several nearby caches, I could not include some of my favorite places. These are now incorporated in this multi-cache.
You can start at any of the listed coordinates and follow in any order. All of the stops are within a short distance of each other and can easily be covered in well under an hour. Of course, if you stop anywhere along the route, it may take longer.
There are a host of other caches in this area that can provide a variety of opportunities to explore and enjoy downtown Asheville.
The physical cache is about two miles away and will give you another chance to have a brew. The cache is not in any plantings.
