Geocache Description:

Kulmer Preserve - A 28 acre Louisville Metro Park. It is actually a small strip of land between Dixie Highway and the Ohio River. Amenities include a picnic shelter, paved parking, river frontage, and most importantly a .85 mile (one way) hiking trail. The trail begins at the picnic shelter and ends at the confluence of the Ohio and Salt Rivers.

There is a cache near the parking area, a traditional and earthcache at the end of the trail. That is a lot of wooded land without cache concentration. This series of caches is an effort to eliminate that problem.

The trail parallels an elevated railroad track to the east. At no time will you need to approach those tracks. The two caches on that side are both within 20 feet of the trail well away from railroad right of way.

You are seeking a subdued RX Bottle. This is the only cache of the series that can be reached with out leaving the trail. Bring your own pen.
