Geocache Description:

At 3377m Champagne Castle is one of the few Drakensberg “Khulus” above 3300m MSL.

This is a challenging cache placed at one of the highest points in the Drakensberg. This is a mountainous area which means it brings real risks. You need to be aware of these risks and previous experience of these conditions will definitely count in your favour, not only to find the cache but to actually enjoy yourself.

Make sure you prepare yourself properly before venturing off, sign the Mountain Register and most of all enjoy the splendour of the Drakensberg.

You will need to bring your own pen to sign the log.
