The old jailer’s house, part of the Historic 1892 Scott County Jail Complex, has been transformed into a beautiful setting for art exhibits at The Scott County Arts & Cultural Center. Permission for this cache has been given by Scott County Arts Consortium – if you are there during visiting hours you might consider thanking them.
The cache is not inside the building

Current Hours: Tues. thru Sat. from 12 to 4 pm , for more information call (502) 570-8366 or (502)867-0060 to be certain about hours of operation.
(Special Note: you should not (and can’t) go into the Old Jail rooms, as in the past many visitors have had trouble getting out!!!)
Park on the street in front of the building or in the lot to the right side when facing the building. Parking and visiting are free.
