The cache is located on a public footpath which connects Wedgewood Drive and Coroners Lane, parking is available in both locations. The path runs parallel with the perimeter wall of St Lukes church in the farnworth area of Widnes and is suitable for wheelchair access.
Parts of St Lukes church are believed to be the oldest man made structure in Widnes ( as early as 1180 ). Originally called St Wilfrids, in 1859 it was re-dedicated and became St Lukes. It is largely a sandstone stucture with a slate roof and was designated a Grade 2 listed building on the 30th May 1963. The cache is a small black tub containing a lapel badge, a mini art set, a toy monk and a Travel Bug. There is another item which contains the log. Please do not remove this item and replace log as found. Feel free to swap any other items. The log is very small so I would appreciate it ,if when its full you would include this information in your comments so I can replace.
Personally I wouldnt attempt this one in the dark its a bit spooky.
Looking at satelite photo co-ords may be a bit off. The cache is not in the graveyard. You do not have to leave the footpath.
