Geocache Description:

A simple micro with no room for writing instruments, but maybe some room for itty bitty swag if you really want to leave some.

This is part of a continuing series wherein each cache is tied to memorable literature that we've read. Some you may know, some not. Team Cache Cow reads a LOT, and frankly, not all of the books we read stand out--even the good ones. The hides you will find in this series don’t always represent our favorite books, but ones that will forever be a part of our lives. May they bring you some joy along the way!

Stephen King's Dark Tower Series is often on the forefront of my mind even years after I put it down. It stands as my favorite story to date (1 short book and 6 long ones make up the whole story), and despite Mr. King's near-miss with the ending of the book, I feel he picked an EXCELLENT way to draw the story of Roland Deschain to an end.

If you're looking for stories about wandering cowboys... or time travel... or sci-fi... or the knights of the round... or horror...or a Tolkenian journey... or if you're looking for one book to bring all of King's work to a fine point... well, this is a series for you. There is a popular comic-book spin off AND a potential movie series in the works.

What you'll find at GZ is NOT the dark tower of the novel. Not even close. But when i found the location, I had to ask myself: what ELSE would I theme this one?
