The 48th of the monthly riviting geocaching get-togethers for cachers from Bucks, Beds, Herts and beyond! A mid-week, evening event for idle 'caching chitchat.
When: Wednesday December 14th 2011, from 7.00pm 'til 11pm
Where: Piggies, 65 High Street, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 3AF
Why: I got all over-excited and volunteered for it before I realised what I was doing!
Who: Cachers from Bucks, Beds, Herts and beyond.
What: This is the latest in an ongoing series of mid-monthly-ish, mid-week-ish regular events at various locations, handy for natives of the three counties to talk caching, plan expeditions and decide who's organising the next one. There's a reasonable selection of caches in the area to make more of a day of it.
There is only space for 31 people so please be quick.

Starters:
King prawn cocktail
Hand peeled fresh King Prawns served on a bed of Cos lettuce with Piggies own cocktail sauce
Melon and parma ham
Fresh honeydew melon served with parma ham and a rocket salad
Breaded garlic mushrooms (V)
Whole button mushrooms fried in crispy garlic bread crumbs served with a fresh side salad and home-made sour cream and chive dip
Christmas pate
A goose liver pate served with toast triangles
Main:
A delicious carvery with a selection of three meats including butter basted turkey and a home-made pie, or for the vegetarian diner, a caramelised red onion, spinach and goats cheese tartlet. The vegetable accompaniments are available to everyone.
Desserts:
Christmas Pudding
A traditional Christmas Pudding served with your choice of either fresh brandy butter or custard
Hot chocolate fudge cake
A decadent chocolate fudge cake served hot with your choice of either double cream or vanilla ice cream
Chocolate topped profiteroles
Home-made profiteroles filled with crème Chantilly and topped with chocolate Grenache
Piggies Boozy Trifle
A delicious strawberry trifle with a hint of sherry
Coffee/Tea
With traditional Piggies full flavour mince pies
