Geocache Description:

This is a series of three caches situated on or around Spike Island in Widnes. For detailed information on this historic site please visit one of the other Spike Island logs where it is explained comprehensively. ( e.g Spike Island Revisited ) The trilogy is loosely based on the successful Star Wars films of the 70's and 80's.

The first film ( Star Wars ) was released on May 25th 1977 followed by two sequels released at 3 year intervals.
The Empire Strikes Back ( May 21st 1980 )
Return of the Jedi ( May 25th 1983 )
The site itself is wheelchair friendly except at GZ. The catalyst museum nearby is also wheelchair friendly and is good value for money.
The cache is a container slightly smaller than a 35mm film cannister containing just a log, so please bring a pen.
