NOT SURE IF REACHABLE BY LAND, unless you are ok with getting wet or bushwacking. This was placed while out kayaking the Clinton river. This is our first river cache placement. we have kayaked this river many times and thought it was time to place one here. This river adventure changes every time we have been out, so each time is a new adventure. This is not a "lazy" river the currents are strong at times so NEVER ATTEMPT ALONE. At times there are log jams that require bushwacking WITH your kayak.
We put in at Yates and took out at Heritage park. There are many entrances and exits to to this river, most of the river is NOT for beginners or children. If you choose the water route, you WILL have to get out of the Kayak/canoe to find this cache. There is a sandbar here so it should be easy to get out in this area.
There is a kayak rental place that rents in this area, If you need to rent kayak or canoes. Pleas remember this river is not for beginners.
