This cache provides some of the best views of Louth's coastline without any of the effort associated with some of the other coastal caches.
Ballagan Point is the most eastern point on the Cooley Peninsula and County Louth. It marks the southern aspect of Carlingford Lough and the beginning of Dundalk Bay. The views from GZ are truly special, There are views to the north across Carlingford Lough of Haulbowline Lighthouse, the Mourne Mountains and to the south the full expanse of Dundalk Bay. The cache is a micro container.small tupperware box. This is a simple cache and dash, parking is available at GZ.
