Duct taped peanut butter jar with geocaching label. Salmon River Beach in Cook's Cove has been the location of much change and activity. A well known salmon fishing area at the narrows of Salmon River that reaches the ocean at the end of the beach, a popular cooling off spot in the summer for local residents; tho winter storms have recently eroded the road that ran across the beach and covered the entirely sandy beach with rock.
