Geocache Description:

This museum houses materials related to the Satake family, which ruled the Akita Domein in Edo period.
The cache container is a small plastic case. Please bring your pen.

The Satake clan was a Japanese samurai clan that claimed descent from the Minamoto clan, and one of the oldest lines of feudal lords in the entire country. This Museum gives visitors a look back at the traditional lifestyle and culture of the Edo period, with exhibits featuring the aristocratic costumes, furniture and armour of the Satake family.

Hours: 9:00am-4:30pm
Admission: Adults 100Yen / High school students 50Yen / Children under 12 Free
