Since some of these things have more than one number on them, I have put checksums for the number that you need as well as everywhere you need to do math. If you take your time, read closely and use them, you should be able to get through this fairly easily!
STAGE 1 (posted coords):
Get the 6 digit number off of the power box, ABCDEF. The checksum of ALL the digits in the number you need from the box is 27. Do the math as follows:
Subtract FD from the northing (checksum for the minutes = 10.)
Add one to BC and add to the westing (checksum for the minutes = 14).
Use the new coords to get to Stage 2
STAGE 2:
Take the 6 digit number from there. The digits are GHIJKL. The checksum of ALL the digits in the number you need from this box is 15.
Subtract H from the northing (checksum for the minutes = 9).
Add 16 to GH and then add the sum to the westing (checksum for the minutes = 18).
Use the resulting coords to get to Stage 3.
STAGE 3
The 6 digit number from that box is MNOPQR. The checksum of ALL the digits you need from this box is 14.
To get to the final, proceed at a bearing of STU degrees for a distance of VWX feet.
To figure the bearing, S = P; T = M + R; and U = the sum of MNOPQ (checksum for the bearing = 17).
To figure the distance, V = M + R, W = Q + R and X = Q - O (checksum for the distance = 18).
FINAL LOCATION:
You should only see one thing here that matches the theme of this multi if you figured correctly at Stage 3, so look around there! The container is a little larger than a micro and camoflaged well to keep it from being muggled! Please place it as good or better than you found it for the next person!
