This park is located on the mountainside of Mt. Tsukuba. It is said that there are over 1,000 plum trees. In addition, a bower and some terraces are established to enjoy scenery. There are many tourists in the plum-blossom season in February and March. Of course, you can visit here and enjoy scenery throughout the year. You will be fascinated with the beautiful night view of the Kanto Plain if you come here at night. Please give notice at your foot.
You will receive a cup of "plum-tea" freely during the plum-blossom festival. I recommend you to come here to enjoy the festival. However, it will be difficult to hunt this cache because of the crowded area...
There is a small parking lot near the bower.

筑波山梅林
筑波山梅林は、筑波山中腹の標高約250mあたりにあり、約1,000本の梅の木があります。ところどころに休憩できるテラスや展望四阿があり、2月から3月の梅の季節には大勢の観光客が訪れます。それ以外の季節でも展望がひらけているので訪れる方がちらほらいます。夜景も楽しめるかと思いますが、足元にお気をつけください。
梅祭りの時期には、梅茶と梅昆布茶のサービスがあります。どちらも同じだろうと思っておりましたが友人が利き茶をしてびっくりしました。皆様はどうでしょうか。是非梅祭りの時期にお越しくださいませ。ただ、その時期はキャッシュの取り出しに苦労されるかもしれません・・・。
展望四阿の近くに3台ほどの駐車スペースがあります。
