Geocache Description:

A series of caches to 'join-up' the previous 'Peggy's Path' with others in the area. They are set on routes that Peggy takes with her dogs. They can be a complete walk on paths and lanes or short walks and cache & dashes. Terrains are for each cache.

Continue on the footpath to the iron bridge over Hammer Stream which leads into the River Rother.

This bridge holds many memories for the grown up Ash's Cacher - my family's Scout group used to camp on this farm and this was the way we came to get to Iping if we needed a phone as there is a phone box by the church. How times have changed.

To get to number 3 you have 3 options: 1)follow the footpath across the bridge to Chithurst Farm and walk around the lanes (this would take you to the Chithurst Church Micro and past 'Hammerfield'. The lanes are quiet but can be busier if the Buddist Monastery has an event on). Or 2) you can back track to Iping and go through the village to meet the footpath that cuts across the field or 3) you can follow the tree line along the river at the edge of the field. The third option is the one the locals use but it is not an official footpath. This is always a crop field and has the footpath from option 2) cutting through it.
