Geocache Description:

Quick little park and grab off the side of the road. Beware of muggles - this is a well traveled road.

I drive by this spot almost daily and thought it would be a nice park and grab spot.

Container is an Army TA-1 Field Phone case that I salvaged from the Army. Original contents are a logbook and pen, 2 Chem-Lites, some army patches, a POG and 2 green army men.

*NOTE* - The patches are available for trading - A little history as to the patches - the triangle "1st Armored Division" patch is the first patch I wore as a soldier and is one of my many "combat patches". The helicopter patch is somewhat of a collector patch; it was designed by myself and another soldier for a deployment to Kosovo in 2004-2006. 2 separate units were brought together to create the one and then separated at the end, basically the unit was only "alive" for 18 months. Now, before someone gets confused or upset over the backwards flag found in the cache, that is the way all soldiers wear the flag in the Army, as it is placed on the Right shoulder and therefore as you would walk with a flag flying, looking in that direction, is how it would display. It symbolizes a country at war. Lastly is the POG - it is a "gift certificate" from AAFES, used in Iraq in lieu of pocket change.
