Geocache Description:

Welcome to Stemler Cave Woods Nature preserve. It's a fairly short walk from the parking area to this cache. You can get a trail map near the parking area from an information board. The board contains some info on the history of the area and the Homer F. Stemler walking trail. Trail length is 1.4 miles on the short loop and 2 miles on the longer loop. Daytime only. Maps are usually not stocked anymore but take a picture of the one on the Info board.

You will have to hike the longer loop to find all three caches placed here. The cache is close to the trail. If you are bushwacking more than thirty feet you have gone too far. I kept caches close to trail at the request of the land manager for the area.
The cache is an ammo box stocked with some goodies. BYO-pen just in case this one goes missing.
