Geocache Description:

The cache is located in the Pike National Forest. The easiest way to start your journey (from Colorado Springs) is to take Highway 67 leaving Woodland Park and heading towards Deckers. Between mile marker 89 and 90, you will come across a Forest Service gate on the East side of the road at approximately N 39 08.855, W 105 07.785. Open the gate and drive through (and close the gate ensuring it is secured). Take the road to N 39 09.127, W 105.07.057 and park off the road so others may pass. If you go during the winter, 4WD is recommended.

The cache is in an ammo can and contains the following: a log book, camera, orienteering compass, batteries, swiss army knife, leatherman tool, first-aid kit, lightsticks, hiking boot laces, flashlight, a deck of cards, a travel bug, baseball cards, compass, yoyo watch, Matchbox cars, and much more. Oh, and of course, sealed dog biscuits - Hobie and Bailey's contribution for your four-legged friends.

Enjoy! During the warmer months, this is a great place to have a picnic.
