A Quick grab and go at a private lake. Stop and enjoy the view. There is ample parking and you are not on any private land. There is a gun range close by and the shots vibrate through the valley. No one is shooting at you! :) Enjoy the hunt. We took my nieces caching and they loved it, so we hid this one in honor of their first visit to the area.
Lake Blaine used to be a public lake and had a very popular campground at the South End for many years. It was eventually sold and the campground closed. The land subdivided and homes were built. My husbands family bought a cabin on the lake many years ago and we enjoy spending a lot of time there. What used to be a lake with about 10 cabins and the same amount of permanent residents now can boost about 80 homes and cabins. The cache is situated at the North end near where the public can launch a small boat and enjoy the bountiful fishing here. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking. If your caching there on a weekend, Stop and grab another cache overlooking the lake, then look southwest to the smallest cabin on the lake and we will probably be there if not another family member.
