Geocache Description:

This is one of 5 caches called 'Giro d'Italia' - all 5 caches are hidden in a 'circuit' that surrounds the Gold Coast's Italo-Australian Club. The real Giro D’Italia is a cycle race for professional cyclists held every year around Italy.

If you would like to walk this circuit and find all 5, park at the small shopping complex situated on the corner of Santa Cruz Boulevard and Key Biscayne and the walk is approximately a 2.5km round trip.

This series of caches was put in place by Dominique who is of Italian heritage – her brother Adriano and her Italian friends Cristina and Star and a Maltese geo-dog called Lulu helped too.

I enjoyed putting this series together - walking around twice - looking for hidey places - and then devising the caches and placing them all.
