Another cache along the picturesque shore at Bradfield, it is located at the end of a Public Byway, however I would recommend parking at the suggested co-ords, and walking down. From here you can also walk along the Public Footpath that runs along the shore to my other cache.
In the times of horse and cart, straw used to be laid on the streets, particularly in busy towns like London, in a aim to keep the streets clean. This straw was then gathered up and put on barges and a lot ended up on fields here at Bradfield, lots of coins etc. from London have been discovered here. I don't know, but perhaps this could have been one of those barges.
This cache is not accessible when the tide is high, and it can become very slippery, please note the terrain rating, check the tides, and take care.
