Geocache Description:

The Cache is hidden along the southern shore-line of the wharewaka reserve.

The Cache is a Camo mint tin, containing a log book and pen, but please bring your own just in case!

Contains a munzee to scan if you are a hunter (visit munzee.com to play)

Wharewaka point reserve is a popular place to spend weekends and holidays relaxing along the Taupo Lake front, although the reserve is a busy place during the summer months, the southern shores of the point are more relaxed, with a great view of the lake towards the mountains.

This area is accessible 24 hours a day, however the dirt road off the parking area leading to GZ is open from 7am to 7pm

Pack a picnic basket, umbrella, beach towels and make a day of it!

The cache is hidden on the edge of the shoreline in a shaded spot above ground
