Paddle out to Sea Oat Island.....
Put-in at the Isle of Capri beach a nice area to launch from and
rentals nearby. This paddle is a chance to get out on the water.
You can paddle a little over 2 miles round-trip or lengthen it by
circling around Johnson Island making it approximately 5 miles
round-trip. Sea Oat island has a large beach on the gulf-side or a
smaller one inside making it the perfect destination for a picnic.
Lots of birds, fish, dolphins, manatees along the way....explore
the remnants of an old homestead on the island......Cache is a
small water-proof container placed about eye-level. Bring your own
pen...room for small trackables only.
