East Side Trail, Worcester Ma. Interesting history about this beautiful trail running from Shrewsbury Street to Lake Quinsigamond. What lies within this great city is quite amazing. Permission for placing this cache was granted by the Greater Worcester Land Trust.
This is a "critter" cache hidden on the East Side Trail approx. .21 miles from parking (Lake Ave). If you wish for a longer hike you can enter the trails from any of the other parking areas on the map.
Follow the blue rectangle trail. You will need to cross Plantation St. to continue on the trail. Yes, you are looking for a "critter" who will see the enemy (yeah you) before you can see it.
Remember "critters" like to hide in dirty and dark places so if you don't want to get your hands dirty bring some gloves. Once you've coaxed the "critter" out of it's hiding you may sign the log and place it back in it's hiding place so it sees the enemy's approach.
There is no room for trade items - BYOP. Please no spoilers or pictures of the "critter" on your log or on facebook. A FTF prize awaits. Enjoy the trail, bring a CITO bag, and Happy Caching.
NOTE: All the critter caches can be reached from any of the noted parking areas - depending on how much walking you wish to do.
Congrats to mmattus for FTF.
