Halloween Fun #2 Traditional Cache

Micro tube in a larger container, BYOP. Right off the trail, but not wheelchair or stroller accessible. Park at Owl Picnic Area. Park hours are 5 am to 10 pm.

Effective 8/3/2016: You must SIGN the log. If you do not sign or stamp the log, you have not found it and your log will be deleted. Bring an implement to write with!

Happened across some of interesting containers this season and thought they might make some fun caches.

Satellite reception is spotty under the tree cover. Coordinates were averaged from multiple readings. The cache is not in the roadway, so do not tarry there while crossing it. During the wet season (roughly November to April), the road is closed to vehicles to protect the migrating newts, but the cache is a short walk down the road from the gate (perhaps 0.3 mile). Be careful not to step on the newts.

Use appropriate stealth and replace the cache so that it's not visible from the trail.
