Sanctuary Park opened in October 2011. The park is 8 hectares in area, lies within the Tauranga City boundary, and is boarded by farmland and a kiwifruit orchard.
This is an ongoing project aiming to be:
- a Community Centre
- a Native Bush Restoration Project
- a Protected Wetlands
- a Bird Park & Whitebait breeding area
- a Picnic and Recreation area
Follow the walking track from the carpark around the kiwifruit orchard - it is a 600 metre walk to the cache. Once at GZ you'll be looking for a 1.1 litre xeonic container.
