School
Welcome to my 95th cache hide...
Found this spot on the way back from hiding another cache called
"Village of Tuppal". This would be a good one to do as part of a
loop with "Tuppal Canal" after "The Village of Tuppal". Pic below
shows the timber sign stating this is the location of the Tuppal
School. There is another sign to the right of this, you will see it
when you get there, which states "Tuppal Primary School"
So, why a cache here. Just a nice little historical spot, that
caught my eye while driving past. Seems it was a short lived
school, only operating for 14 years. Wish there were some buildings
left to have a look at, but seeing it is now a farmers paddock,
they would have all been taken.
The cache itslef is a 600ml plastic screw top jar. Should be
nice and waterproof. Please hide as found. Initial contents are a
logbook and some toy swaps for the kids.
As always with caches near water
and roads, be careful, especially with the kiddies. As this is a
rural cache, BE VERY WARY OF SNAKES. THE GRASS HERE WAS LONG WHEN
PLACING, SO KIDS ONLY WITH ADULT SUPERVISION. Importantly, have
fun.
