This cache has been archived.

BrewSleuth: Even though I have been driving around with new cache container in the car with a family member in the hospital I have not been able to detour to replace this cache. I am going to let this one go for now.

Geocache Description:

small bison insert (nano-like so bring tweezers), log only

Façadism is the practice of demolishing a building but leaving its facade (usually front or main elevation) intact for the purposes of building new structures behind it or around it. It is a controversial practice pitting developers and property owners, city officials, and preservationists against each other.

The Carrollton Post Office complex is an excellant example of facadism. The new construction incorporates the three story facade of a renaissance style building constructed in the 1920's by Cloverland Dairy and sold to Sealtest in 1950. The construction of the post office was completed and dedicated in 1984.

Please replace as found for longevity of the cache.
