The Eastwood Theatre
(1942 - 1992)

Eastwood Theatre, 1975

The Eastwood Theater opened in 1942 as a single-screen show with accomodations for 500 seats in the city known as East Detroit.
Many folks could catch a double feature for a dollar during the week.  A Little more on the weekends.

Eastwood Theatre, 1984

On the inside, there were murals of roses painted on the insides. Also it only had one screen, and that was all it ever would have as a theater.  It continued as a movie theater for many, many years.

In 1992, the theater closed and it would later be used as a Club and Coffee house.

If you have any memories of
the Eastwood Theater,

Enjoy the hunt! :)
