Cache placed by Twisted Sisters X4 as a tribute to the past and future of this wonderful area that was once part of the main route through NB. This cache is also placed to commemorate the union of Christina & Jay, 18/06/2011. Please feel free to take a gold ring keepsake and add to the log your own special date and memory, whatever that may be.
A new walking suspension bridge has just been completed. You can still see the top rails of the old concrete bridge of 1958. We used to go here as kids and swim. The headpond water level has been raised numerous times in the past 30 years so the landscape has changed considerably. Look upstream and see the rock with the chain still embedded in it. There was another cache site here before the construction of the bridge buried it. Waiting to hear from cache owner if he is looking to re-hide cache. If not, we will.
Due to cache location, please ensure muggles don`t see you finding or hiding the cache unless they are cache friendly muggles. The actual cache hide is winter friendly, however road to site on either side may not be plowed in the winter.
Congrats to Hawkshaw River Rat and Pen4 for First to Find.
