I've been feeling that lately
my caches aren't challenging enough, I've been trying to provide
caches for the family type cachers, but have left out the
Hardcore cacher. Well this one should fit the bill, I
found it while searching out redirect spots for a multi. I myself
have done quite a few of these types of caches and have had varying
degrees of entertainment doing them. For the experienced cacher,
looking around the area, you'll know what you're in for right away.
For the new cacher, you may be looking a long time and just when
you think "I've looked everywhere", well you probably haven't. This
cache will be very difficult, perhaps impossible to all but the
most hearty of cachers at certain times of the year. It certainly
was just a challenge to even put the cache there myself. I've
reflected that in the terrain/difficulty rating. Sure some may find
it a lot easier, but some will find it a little more difficult, for
this, I shot for the higher D/T rating. I'm thinking that some may
come to this, look around and say "I'm not prepared for this" and
come back later. You will need to be prepared to do this one, if
you don't feel you're prepared, don't do it as there is some
inherent danger. I'd also like to say there isn't much parking to
be had and this is a very busy road, so I'm making this a "non
child friendly" cache and encouraging those searching for this to
be aware of the traffic.
I would ask that you not post any spoiler pics, nor
descriptions in your logs. These will be immediately deleted as the
fun remains in the search.
I
would like to encourage people that try this
to have fun. I'm hoping it will be one of those caches that people
reflect upon and say "that was a challenge, but a memorable
smilely". As with all CZ hides, the idea here is to have fun and be
safe.
