Geocache Description:

Redmayne Ramble: a walk around Yealand Redmayne.  A wide variety of landscapes, good paths and 7 caches. Caches 8,9,10 extend the walk to Yealand Conyers

Three additional caches now extend the Ramble and can form a short circular of their own or be added onto the main circuit of caches 1-7.  In wet weather beware muddy paths in places.

If you back track from No.7, and continue south, the footpath crosses a bowl shaped field and into yet more excellent woods near the Big House.  Lovely trees, ferns and some outcrops of limestone.  Your gps should hopefully guide you to a prickly feature by the path. A small vial.

Please observe the signs about dogs and keep them under control, and close all gates.

On departing the cache, once through the odd gate you could head up to the top of Summerhouse Hill and a cache with an excellent viewpoint west: Three Seats to the Wind, before returning to continue to No.9.  Well worth it for the view!
